Shipping Terms And Conditions


Standard Shipping

In-stock items ship within 1-7 business days and will arrive to you within one to five business days from the ship date (if shipped within the USA). If there is a delay, we will notify you by email. Items shipped directly from our suppliers may take longer, and all items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. Many items are custom-made after your order is placed and lead times for these products will vary.   Any item personalized with a name or color is not stocked and will take up to 2-4 weeks to process but usually much less.   Monogram/Initial rugs will take 4 weeks to be custom made for you.  Custom-personalized wall decals vary in process time depending on which designer creates your decal (usually 7-10 days).   If you are in need of your decal by a certain date, please email us before you order so that we can give you a time frame. 

If a product you have ordered is out of stock or on backorder, we will contact you with a shipment date and you can decide to either keep the order as is or cancel the item. If you'd like to verify stock information and availability prior to placing your order, please contact customer service.

Standard shipping rates are based on your total purchase amount, excluding any items qualifying for FREE SHIPPING.

Please note we do not guarantee delivery time once an order is shipped and The Boys Depot cannot be held responsible for delays made by the shipping company, and no refunds will be paid for late deliveries.



Rush Shipping

Some of our products are available for rush shipping. Please contact us via email for rush shipping availability and rates.


Furniture Items - Delivery Options

Standard Delivery as well as Premier Delivery options are set up on our website for all oversized furniture items.   Standard delivery includes placement of the item just inside the main threshold of your home or building (delivery to any floor other than the main floor or another room besides the front door entrance way, will require our Premier Service).  Premier Delivery includes placement of the item in the room of your choice, unpacking the item, assembly, and bundling of the packaging debris. Please make us aware by sending us an email or adding in the comments section at the time you place the order if any specific arrangements are needed to gain access to your residence such as spiral staircases, ferry transportation, or freight elevator appointments as additional fees or surcharges may apply. Please note that due to the extra care and handling involved with our Premier Delivery service the shipping time may be extended up to 1-2 weeks beyond standard shipping times. Shipping times will vary based on ship to address.

Free Shipping

Many of our items qualify for free shipping within the USA. Should you decide to return an item that shipped via Free Standard shipping, you will be credited for a full refund minus the cost of shipping the item to you or any re-stocking fee's that may apply.    


Delivery to Post Office Boxes

Though we ship some smaller items, such as fabric swatches and baby clothing, via USPS, most items will ship ship via UPS or FedEx. If you do have both a physical address as well as a PO Box, please include both in the shipping information at check-out. We cannot process orders that only provide a PO Box at check-out.

Delivery to APO and FPO addresses

We are more than happy to ship to APO and FPO addresses. Please contact us via email for shipping rates.

Delivery to Hawaii and Alaska

Items shipped to Hawaii and Alaska do not qualify for free shipping. Shipping rates are based on the weight of the items in your shopping cart and will be calculated at check-out. Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska may take up to 3 weeks to process. If needed, please contact us prior to placing your order and we can provide you with an estimated shipping date. We reserve the right to make one complete shipment for all orders shipping to Hawaii and Alaska. Therefore, if any custom items are included in your order, all items will ship when the custom items are available. If you wish for us to ship your order in multiple shipments as items are ready, please email and we can provide a shipping quote. Unless specific arrangements are made prior to your order being placed, we cannot fulfill furniture orders to Hawaii and Alaska.

Drop Ship Items

With so many products available, we are unable to stock every one in our warehouse. Some items are shipped directly from our suppliers to your door.


International Shipping

Most of our items are available for international shipment.   Please allow 1-3 weeks processing time for international orders (please email us for a more exact time frame). Please note that we are unable to ship any furniture products internationally. Please inquire about shipping costs to countries besides the USA and we'll be happy to provide accurate shipping costs for your destination. We reserve the right to make one complete shipment for all orders shipping to international addresses. Therefore, if any custom items are included in your order, all items will ship when the custom items are available. If you wish for us to ship your order in multiple shipments as items are ready, please email and we can provide a shipping quote. International shipping is via USPS Priority Mail International or Fed Ex, and is based on the weight of the products you are purchasing. Please know that you will be responsible for any import fees that your country may assess upon arrival, including duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and brokerage fees. Please be aware of the fees for your specific destination, as we don't want you to be surprised at the fees when your package arrives! International shipments CANNOT be marked as GIFT, and the exact value that you pay for the item must be declared on the customs forms. International shipments are insured until they leave the US. Once it has left the United States, we cannot be held responsible any longer.

Please Note:  At check out if you choose Canada or any other "international" destination our shopping cart will not calculate the shipping cost.   You will notice $0 as the shipping charge.    We will contact you after you place your order with a shipping quote for your approval BEFORE we process your order.   Please watch for our email.    If you do not agree with the shipping cost you are more then welcome to cancel your order.  


Shipping Surcharges

Please know that certain items {including, but not limited to, furniture, paint and other bulky or heavy products} require special care and incur a delivery surcharge in addition to the standard shipping rates provided above. All delivery surcharges, when applicable, are shown on each product page and are included in the product price as a "Shipping Surcharge".


How To Receive Your Shipment

Please take the time to read the following important information regarding the delivery of your order.

For furniture items:  The freight company will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment (Monday – Friday) once the shipment has arrived in your local area. Please note that the shippers are not our employees; they are independent contractors.

The artisans take great pride in packaging their product. Unfortunately, pieces are occasionally damaged during transit. Should this happen during your delivery, here are some helpful suggestions to protect your investment:

Fed Ex and UPS require you be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery.
It is important to be as detailed and descriptive as possible on the packing slip before you sign for your items. A signature indicates acceptance; if you simply sign without inspecting the box or its contents, then you are accepting the shipment "as is." We will not be able to file a claim with the shipper on your behalf unless you notate any damages at the time of delivery.

For Standard Delivery of furniture items, the shippers will bring the item across the threshold of your home. If the box appears to be in good condition, but you cannot inspect the shipment due to time constraints, please note "not inspected at delivery" on the shipping waybill. However, if the box is compromised in any way, please note "box damaged, possible damage to piece, not inspected at delivery" on the waybill. Any damages must be reported to our customer service department within 5 days of receipt of the item.

For Premier Delivery, the shippers will bring the furniture items to the room of your choice, unpack the item and discard the debris. We do not offer assembly. If there are any damages or missing pieces, please note this on the shipping waybill. If the box/packaging are not available for your inspection, please note that as well. Remember that if you sign the waybill without notating damages, we cannot be responsible for assisting you in the repair or replacement of the merchandise. Any damages must be reported to our customer service department within 5 days of receipt of the item.
